Ch.11 § 4-10

A. The extraction or storage of any incidental process of sand, gravel, or other material from the land in the amount of one thousand (1,000) cubic yards or more and removal thereof from the site shall be considered as mining and shall be subject to the rules and regulations of the City Code. B. In all districts, the conduct of mining shall be permitted only upon securing an Interim Use Permit. Such permit shall include, as a condition thereof, a plan for a finished grade which will not adversely affect the surrounding land. C. All other excavations require an excavation permit. (Ordinance #3, adopted November 9, 2010) 11-4-11: USE OF DYNAMITE/EXPLOSIVES: The use of dynamite and/or other high explosives is prohibited in the City.
